Showers, Storms To Return, But Will They Hang Around On Father's Day?

Father's Day Weekend won't be a complete washout, but it will be marked by the return of an unsettled weather pattern.

After a wet and stormy day, Thursday, June 15 will be the pick of the week, with mostly sunny skies and a high temperature ranging from the upper 70s to lower 80s.

But the pleasant weather won't last long.

Friday, June 16 will be mainly cloudy with showers likely to arrive in the middle of the afternoon on a day in which the high temperature will be in the mid 70s.

Thunderstorms will become possible from the late afternoon through the evening, into the early morning  hours on Saturday, June 17.

Saturday will be a dreary day with showers and thunderstorms at times during the day through the middle of the evening. The high temperature will be in the low 70s.

Up to a half-inch of rainfall is possible during the day.

Father's Day on Sunday, June 18 should be dry for most of the day with partly cloudy skies and a high temperature in the mid 70s. There will be a chance for showers from the middle of the afternoon to the middle of the evening.
